Manning Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine was established in August of 2006. We specialize in the treatment of sports and orthopedic related injuries. A husband and wife team, Patrick and Lisa Manning are the owners.
Patrick graduated in 1992 from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. He continued his education receiving a Masters of Physical Therapy Degree from Chatham College in 1996. Patrick has extensive experience in the field of Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy. From 1999 to 2006, he was the Director of the Sports Medicine Program at Allegheny General Hospital, overseeing 13 area high schools, a Division I athletic program, and a minor league baseball team. Patrick served as the Physical Therapy Consultant for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2002 to 2006. He has been an Adjunct Faculty Member at Duquesne University’s School of Athletic Training and Physical Therapy since 1999.
Lisa Manning graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994 with a degree in Psychology. She has worked in the mental health field for 18 years. Lisa has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with special needs. Today, she is the Chief Financial Officer of Manning Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, Inc. Lisa manages the front office and the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Patrick and Lisa also own and operate Tri-Care Home Care, Inc. Tri-Care Home Care is a Medicare certified home health agency providing skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, home health aides, speech therapy, and medical social workers. Tri-Care Home Care is located in Mt. Lebanon, PA. They provide services to Allegheny and surrounding counties.
Patrick and Lisa have two children; Tyler is 18 years old. Nicholas is 14 years old. They reside in Bethel Park.
