About Us

Manning Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine was established in August of 2006. We specialize in the treatment of sports and orthopedic related injuries. Patrick and Lisa Manning, a husband and wife team, are the owners.

Patrick M. Manning, M.P.T., A.T.C.

Patrick graduated in 1992 from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. He continued his education receiving a Masters of Physical Therapy Degree from Chatham College in 1996. Patrick has extensive experience in the field of Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy.

From 1999 to 2006, he was the Director of the Sports Medicine Program at Allegheny General Hospital, overseeing 13 area high schools, a Division I athletic program, and a minor league baseball team. From 1999 to 2003 he was also the Director of the Allegheny General/Duquesne University Sports Medicine Institute.

Patrick served as the Physical Therapy Consultant for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2002 to 2006. He has been an Adjunct Faculty Member at Duquesne University’s School of Physical Therapy since 1999.

Lisa Manning

Lisa Manning graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994 with a degree in Psychology. She has worked in the mental health field for 18 years. Lisa has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with special needs. Today, she is the Chief Financial Officer of Manning Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, Inc. Lisa manages the front office and the day-to-day operations of the clinic.

Patrick and Lisa reside in Bethel Park with their two sons,Tyler and Nicholas.

Mark J. Orsi, M.S., M.P.T.

Mark J. Orsi, M.S., M.P.T. is the Director and Managing Partner of the Greentree office of Manning Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from Duquesne University in 1994. He received a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Duquesne University in 1995. In 1999, he received an Advanced Master of Science degree with a musculoskeletal focus from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mark began his career in 1995 working as a staff Physical Therapist for the Forbes Health System. In 2001, he was promoted to a Chief Physical Therapist with Allegheny General Hospital/ Forbes Health System. Mark was in charge of the day to day operations of the outpatient orthopaedic Bethel Park Clinic. Mark joined the private practice of Manning Physical Therapy in 2008. In November of 2011 he opened the Greentree office of Manning Physical Therapy. Mark also has extensive experience in the home health setting and acute rehabilition setting.

Mark is a graduate of Seton LaSalle High School. He resides in Peters Township with his wife Mary, and their three sons, Jacob, Joseph, and Matthew.
